Gratuitous Valentine's Day flower photo...haters gonna hate.

My best friend got a taser for Valentine's Day. So of course, I had to make her this.
We had a blast entertaining friends over the weekend. Carl went all out and made steak fajitas, guacamole, and fresh pico. I made a red velvet cake, per request. I was so damn proud of this cake. I did my best to mirror the cake on the cover of the Miette cookbook. No, I didn't make the flower, I ran out of time. Meh.

My Ballard mirrors are finally hung! I'm obsessed. Best house purchase so far.
